A couple weeks ago I jokingly talked about the latest accessory being 
the pooch, but its the pet products industry that's actually making mega bucks as of late. Looks like dressing up your pooch is the big trend right now. This past weekend San Diego played host to the Global Pet Expo where everything from pink puppy corsets, rhinestone-studded collars, furry coats for dogs, and crocodile skin dog carriers were being sold.
About 700 exhibitors showed up for this three-day event. According to the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, people spent more than $38 billion on their pets this year.
