
There's controversy brewing over French Connection's new advertising campaign: two women kissing. This ad came about after sales fell last year and is an attempt to gain back customers. French Connection has been known to cause stir in the past with their FCUK logo, but it seems customers want something new.
"We don't go out to cause controversy, but it is one of those adverts which is eye-catching. Some people will like and it and some people won't, but it is interesting and innovative, which is what we try to be," said Neil Williams, Operations Director.*
In today's society I don't find two women kissing quite that interesting and innovative. What do you think?
