It's no secret that hip-hop artists love their clothes and their bling. 
Many of these artists have crossed over to the fashion industry and have come out with their own clothing lines. Diddy, Jay-Z, Nellie, and now Kanye West have added clothing lines to their list of accomplishments.
What these guys have in common is that they've taken advantage of their stardom to advance their careers and make an extra buck through cross-branding. Diddy has become a hip-hop mogul reportedly earning $24.3 million through his businesses. I don't see anything wrong with that. I would do it if I was a famous music artist. If you have the talent and resources, why not?
