I often scour the internet and thumb through fashion magazines searching for ideas for my latest creations. But oftentimes it seems that I spend too much time searching and not enough time doing.
Proponents of meditation say that if you just stop for a second and silence your mind, ideas will flow more easily. So that's what I have done to help me with my writing and production of my jewelry. They say that its when you stop searching is when your innermost genius emerges.
I usually find inspiration from nature, but actually, just about anything is art to me. I can look at a scratched-up CD and find something fascinating about it.
As a designer, my mind just keeps on going and going....I'm in constant wonder...
