I know they're probably light years ahead of the fashion world. Trends do travel from East to West...so maybe in a couple years their styles will begin to trickle into the U.S.
Well, I just came across a news story about another creative individual from Japan, Koji Nagano, who just started his first collection. And guess where he got his inspiration - from threads!
From the AFP article:

By the way, if you're a designer, where do you get your inspiration from? Post your comments below, or contact me at: maria@salondemaria.info

Hey Maria,
Since you dropped by for a visit, I thought I would return the favor.
Tokyo is indeed a fashion capital. Though, what would I know about that?
My wife, worked as a fashion designer for nearly 10 years in Hong Kong....there is another world of fashion there.
Thanks for the welcome and a return of well wishes to you!
