
I remember as a child always going to JCPenney to go shopping. It
would be an exciting day when I walked out with some new adornment. And somehow as I grew older, JCPenney lost its appeal, until recently.
The company has launched an aggressive marketing campaign to refocus on its core customers, women ages 35-54 with dual income and two kids, and the younger customer who is just starting a family. I did notice this tonight as I was watching TV that the JCPenney ads always showed women walking down the street in the latest fashions while the men stood and stared.
I never would have thought I would shop at JCPenney again for clothing, but I do like the Bisou Bisou line they have for juniors. Watch out Target, JCPenney is making a comeback!
