Making Your Own Fashion Trends

Are you a follower or a leader when it comes to fashion?  My motto is Audi's ad motto : "Never follow".  As such, I've always tried to come up with creative outfits that express who I am as an artist and human being.

I think it's important for each of us to tell people who we are through our dress, actions, and demeanor.  Are you a risk taker, outgoing, conservative?  I've seen women who dress a certain way because everybody else dresses like such - thus not being true to themselves.

I challenge everybody to come up with their own style and stop following these cookie-cutter trends just because it's "in".  Go ahead - start a fashion revolution!

Hi there.
Just wanted to say thank you for stopping by on my blog and leaving a comment. Just saw it today and thought I´d check out your page and I already like the first post I read! Good start!
I think I have never been a fashion victim. When I was younger I didn´t have the money to follow all these ridiculous trends. Now that I am older I just don´t like what they have to offer. I have my own style that fits my personality and depends on my mood. Sometimes I might thiunk that a jeans and a T-shirt that says: Frankie says relax, is a great idea. On anotehr day I might prefer black trousers, a white shirt and a pink scarf. All about moods with me.

Although I love fashion and keep a lookout for trends, I wear only the clothes and shoes I think are beautiful. Because of that, you'll never see me in a pair of wedges or platforms, which are in my opinion repulsive.

Fashion is very subjective. It's like art - everyone has their own taste. Someone may fall in love with a piece -and another person may think it very ugly. Everyone is entitled to their opinion :)

Fashion is all about being comfortable with yourself....
