Out with the bohemian skirts, in with the skinny jeans! Pencil thin 
jeans are the thing of the season, but I don't think you'll catch me wearing a pair. And please, if you're not skinny, don't let me catch you wearing them either!
This trend will probably be glamorized by retailers such as BeBe, Wet Seal, and Charlotte Russe, who cater to teens and young women.
"It's been anointed as the trend of the year," said retail financial analyst Eric Beder of Brean, Murray Carret & Co.*
Over at The Primadonna Life, we're given some advice on how to wear skinny jeans:
"... the look can we worn with pumps, wedges, or flats. The look is very hip, young, but also extrememly unforgiving. If you tend to be bottom heavy, go for stove pipe/straight cut, rather than the less flattering peg leg/tapered cut. Get them in a dark wash for a more slimming effect. If you are top-heavy, pair them with longer tops to avoid the "lightbulb" silhouette."
