The Edinburgh College of Art is looking to revamp its fashion department to attract more attention to the school. Graduates of ECA, including Yong Hei Fong and Lindsay Scott are already making their mark in the fashion world.
"We are already the only place in Scotland where you can get a BA honours in fashion," said Robert Gillan, head of fashion, textiles and performance costume at ECA. "The next step is to create a dedicated fashion school that better reflects our profile and attracts students. It is important Scotland has this kind of facility." *
Perhaps these upcoming designers from Scotland will think about reinventing the kilt :)
