I'm here because I have a passion for fashion and have always been a fashion innovator....
One of my memories of kindergarten is the day a girl in my class told me that my purple socks didn't match my orange dress. I paid her no mind because I felt comfortable with myself! To this day I'm still the Fashion Diva expressing myself creatively and artfully through the way I dress.
I spent seven years as a young diva working for Wet Seal, Inc. where I started out as a sales girl and moved up to Store Manager. Everyday was like Christmas as I opened boxes of new shipment. It was hard not to come home everyday without wanting to add something new to the wardrobe! :) Putting outfits together for customers was one of my biggest thrills - besides seeing them walk out with a smile on their face.
My fashion education also includes working at Nordstrom in the children's shoes and handbag departments, as well as a shoe buyer/coordinator for Sears. I study shows like America's Next Top Model, Project Runway and Vogue is my textbook of choice. :)
I currently have my own handcrafted jewelry business and have started a blog called Beauty is Within. It's one of my missions in life to help people discover the beauty that is within...
Here at TheRunwayScoop I'll talk about everything fashion - what's in, what's out, news, the business of, movers, shakers, and more!
