I watched "Project Jay" for the first time today.  It's nice to see where a person comes from and how they lived there life prior to becoming famous. I don't know what planet I lived on last year, but somehow I missed the first season of "Project Runway" and haven't seen much of his designs, so I don't have anything to say about him as an artist. 

However, I do wonder if the show is a little scripted.  Jay constantly talks about being "broke", but how can you be broke when you just signed with BravoTV for a reality show?  And from the episode I watched, I know he's also done some acting roles.  So, even if he's not getting paid that much, he IS getting paid.

Jay is inspiring, funny and real and the more I see of him, the more I want to see of him. And I really I want to see more and more of his designs. Bravo can just skip Project Chloe and have a few full seasons of Project Jay instead.
