Here's the scoop on two fashion industry executives that have
recently called it quits:
Marlo Sabo, president and chief executive officer of Christian Dior’s U.S. component, has quietly resigned after five years of employment. It's been reported that her only explanation for leaving is, "I want to do other things.” Sabo's successor may be Patricia Malone, the former president of Gucci America.
Lesley Jane Seymour of Marie Claire has resigned and her successor has already been chosen: Joanna Coles, a British native and More executive editor.
Susan Plagemann, VP/Publisher of Marie Claire, said this to The Daily: “Lesley did an amazing job and is leaving the magazine with a National Magazine Award nomination for general excellence and we look forward to Joanna taking it to the next level."
