Golf is a topic that's a little bit out of my element, but definitely
something I would like to learn. There's a growing interest in women who want to play golf and they do need outfits to wear! I believe that it's a good niche that someone could get into if they're interested in fashion for women golfers.
Apparently, Nancy Berkley thinks it's a good idea too. She's written a very good article, Women's Golf Fashions - Almost Anything Goes!, on the current trends in golf fashions. Nancy says that the "anything goes" look has caused a problem for golf apparel manufacturers...
" Now that anything goes, women golfers do not have to go to a "golf" store to buy "golf" clothes. In fact, younger women golfers (women aged 18 to 29 are the fastest growing segment in the industry) are just as likely to find their clothes at the Gap or Nordstrom than at the pro shop at a fancy golf resort."
