
Well, it's about time someone realizes that plus size women spend money too! It's been reported that from March 2005 to February 2006, sales of plus-size women's clothing rose about 7 percent to $19 billion.
The plus size market was certainly underserved in the past, but is now being recognized by retailers such as Wal-Mart, Gap, and Old Navy. A spokeswoman for Wal-Mart says that the company is adding more racks for plus-size apparel and will be merchandised with all the other sizes. No longer will women's clothing be segragated!
