
The Guardian published an article today about the Spanish government
launching a study that compares the clothing sizes of models and everyday women's real sizes. They would like to see if the fashion industry is causing the increase in eating disorders among women. The study will look into the advertising campaigns of fashion chains like Mango and Inditex fashion companies, who have agreed to participate in the study.
Well, I'm glad that someone out there is finally trying to do something about these issues! Our government is too busy fighting wars to think about what really matters to us. But that's another issue...
