I can't remember where I read or heard that phrase, "Read to 
Succeed", but it's been my mantra for quite some time now. Ever since I read my first book at the tender age of three, I've been quite the bookworm. And so, my fellow fashionista, I encourage you to read and develop that thirst for knowledge.
As fashionistas, I feel that it is our duty to continuously read about what is going on in the fashion industry and be able to articulate our own views and passion for fashion. A fashionista must interpret and analyze the information that was read and not necessarily take everything at face value. Fashion is not about just looking good on the outside, it's also about having an intelligent mind to match that fabulous outfit :)
