Torture? I'll tell you torture. The 90's was torture, but I do admit, I was one of those ill-fated fashion victims of the 90's. I was soooo into the grunge look. Hence, the black Doc Marten boots. And they didn't hurt me in the physical-pain sort of way. They hurt me mentally because what big-footed woman in her right mind would wear such a boot?
Can you say Ronald McDonald?
But why did I continue to wear them, you ask? For the same reason millions of others wear them and probably still continue to wear them...they're just so gosh-darned comfortable!
