It's day two of The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week and it looks like
people are a little fashioned out (Ok, I've officially created a new phrase - fashioned out). This is the second fashion week being put on in India and according to a few reports, the designers showed to empty seats. This fashion week followed the Lakme Fashion Week which seemed to be a success for quite a few designers.
The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week was organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). According to an article at The Times of India, FDCI and Lakme couldn't come to an agreement on sponsorships, so the two organizations decided to do separate fashion weeks instead.
Putting on a fashion week is not about "sponsorships". It's about supporting the designers and allowing them to showcase their talents to the world. Must everything always goes back to money, huh?
Cybernoon.com posted an article asking us: So, which fashion event is better? Any comments?
