Telegraph's fashion editor, Clare Coulson, had the utmost privilege of
interviewing the illustrious shoe designer, Manolo Blahnik. Frankly, I don't know what I would have done if I had such a chance. At Clare's blog she tells of her dilemma about what shoes to wear. She settles for a new pair of gold Lanvin shoes.
I would probably have spent days in angst trying to think of questions to ask, how I should wear my hair, what lipstick to wear, etc., etc. Ahhh! Thank God I'm just a blogger :)
After reading the article about Manolo, I've come to realize just how much in common I have with this shoe designer:
" In many ways, Blahnik, is living in the wrong era; he is astounded by the crass world around him. On just a few hours of sleep each night - and chocolate-fuelled sugar highs - he simmers with a manic energy and travels the globe, overseeing his company and attending glitzy galas."
Ok, I don't travel around the globe (except on the web!) and I don't attend glitzy galas, but other than that, I think we're soul mates....no, not the "intimate" kind of soul mate, but the kind of soul mates that share that same type of creative energy....
Anyhow, read more of the article here...

Hmm, I think the three of us are all kindred!
