I received some news from Style.com that the beret is making its way 
back into the fall fashion lines. Comes as no surprise being that the beret has always been in style, according to my fashion book :) I've always loved berets since Prince sang about that famous "Raspberry Beret" back in the 80's.
But berets have been around for quite some time now, mainly used by military groups around the world. For the fashion diva, it's that timeless accessory that you definitely want to keep around, especially for bad hair days (that's what I use it for anyways!) Besides the nagging itch across the forehead at times, berets give you that chic, I'm-All-About-Style look. I have a grey one that loves to come out during those fashion moods.
My winter hat is quite beret-like. I like them, naturally.
