Here's an interesting little tidbit for you...
I read an article in Business Week today about a material called PLA that is made from corn starch. Manufacturers melt down this corn starch into syrup, ferment it into lactic acid, and then shape it into resin. This resin is then melted and spun into fiber. Fashion houses like Versace have adopted the use of this textile for their clothing.
Also, did you know that most dyes used in clothing nowadays are harmful to both humans and the environment? That's what it says here. This website also offers T-shirts and camisoles that are made from 100% organic, natural cotton, and are non-dyed.
This may be the start of a new evolution in fashion...we'll see!

I really doubt the plain, healthy clothing will fit people's tastes.
It's interesting though, how corn syrup is so unhealthy to eat, yet is good for the environment.
