Every Sunday the San Diego Union Tribune publishes a little blurb called "San Diego Style" where they randomly pick someone dressed fashionably and give a mini interview asking questions such as:
"What are you wearing?"
"How would you describe your style?"
"Where do you like to shop?"
etc.
etc.
In this particular issue of "San Diego Style", a very fashionable lady in her 70's is asked, "Have you ever committed a fashion faux pas?" Her answer is:
"I wore those sandals that lace up your leg."
"Oh, but those are in style right now," says the interviewer (Nina Garin).
Isn't it funny how someone's "faux pas" can be someone else's idea of "style"? Is a piece of clothing worthy of being worn just because it's "in style"?

Is a piece of clothing worthy of being worn just because it's "in style"?
-Simply put, NO. For me, platforms and leggings will never come back in fashion. But you have to admit that it takes some guts to refuse to wear the trendiest trend.
