
It's amazing the things we can make with hair. I once saw a painting
that used human hair as part of the composition. Different types of animal hair has been used in many fashions you see today. Now, we're going to add buffalo hair to the list. I read this article about a fashion designer, Ruth Huffman Bell, founder of American Buffalo Designs, who is working on a patent to use buffalo hair for her fashions. I don't believe the buffalos are killed, however.
I really don't see anything wrong with using hair/fur to make fashion, as long as the animal isn't killed solely for that reason. Back in the day people killed the animals for food and used the skin and fur to make clothes. They made full use of the animal, and that's ok. When you kill animals only to use the fur, that's when I have issues....
