While other fashion houses are expanding into India and China, Giorgio
Armani is expanding in Mexico with a second boutique to open at the Antara Polanco Mall. This special boutique will carry the Emporio Armani line for women and men as well as premier a cafe and the Armani/Casa line in October.
In addition to the Mexico expansion, Giorgio will also launch a boutique in the Narita Airport in Tokyo. The company already has boutiques in other airports around the world.
I foresee this as becoming a new trend...for fashion houses to ease their way into the international airports. Pretty soon airports will turn into mini-malls...as if they're not already!
