So, what do you think about this new trend...high fashion designers 
offering affordable clothing lines? Isaac Mizrahi did it, Nicole Miller did it, and now I've learned via Coquette that Alexander McQueen is doing it.
Some people will say that these designers have "sold out" and go on to comment about how these less-expensive clothing lines are "horrendous" or basically suck" - for lack of a better word! There's an interesting thread at The Fashion Spot if you want to join the crowd on commenting about McQueen's new denim line.
I, for one, could really care less. It's the designers life - they're free to do as they wish. If making more affordable clothes makes them happy - so be it.
