It was a beautiful day in May and my boyfriend and I were going out to have our weekly lunch "date". I was wearing a knee-length denim pencil skirt, some cute summery-like top, and Bandolino heels. The sun was shining bright when we walked out the door...then suddenly here comes this huge gust of fog! Yikes! I had to turn around and change my whole outfit...
That was a few weeks ago and the San Diego weather seems to be going back to its usual warm self. However, I know that in other parts of the world, the weather is still going through "moods". For example, Clare Coulson of Telegraph reports that the London weather has made dressing a bit ""schizophrenic" and offers some tips for layering:
- A big wrap may feel like a winter accessory, but it can be incredibly useful....I am talking about really wide scarves, here, not those skinny ones that serve no practical purpose.
- Wear light dresses or skirts, but over tights
- Trade heavier coats for something protective, but lightweight, such as one of the trench coats that are filling the shops at the moment
- This spring's trend for patent leather is tailor-made for the wet weather.
- A rain-proof hat is probably the most useful accessory you could own.
