I've stated here before that I'm not a big "Juicy" fan, but I have to
recognize that they are making strides to expand and make more money. I'm not sure if there's a dire need to outfit our babies in $100+ outfits. Actually, I don't really know the price points. I'm just assuming.
It looks like Juicy has signed agreements with Tawil Associates Inc to manufacture, distribute, and market Juicy Couture apparel for infants sizes 0-24 months. The new line is expected to launch in October 2006.
I know I'm sounding very cynical in this post, but does a baby even care whether or not he/she is wearing couture? Don't you think it would be better to buy that "generic" brand to outfit the babe and send the rest of the money to other babies in the world who need food right now?
Yes, the baby will be "oh, so cute!", but think about it - they're going to grow out of it in about three months and in that time some other company will have come out with something better. Well, so much for that $100 Juicy Couture outfit! Might as well walk over to the toilet and flush that $100 down the toilet right now...
