
Levi Strauss & Co is undergoing scrutiny from privacy advocates
because the clothing company has put RFID tags on inventory that was sent to stores in Mexico and the U.S. The consumer advocates claim that it is an invasion of privacy - and I certainly have to agree with them. Levi says that it's an action taken merely to "track inventory" and not people. Sure.
My concern is: how do you verify that the tag has actually been blocked when a customer leaves a store? Enter RSA Security Inc., a company that will soon unveil a "blocker tag" that prevents these RFID tags from being read. Read more here...

I don't want no stinkin' RFID tags on my clothes! I think I will refuse to buy any apparel with those tags.
