I know that wedding season is fast approaching and many of you 
soon-to-be brides are shopping for wedding dresses. Weddings are pretty costly these days and the wedding industry sure knows how to make money!

FYI - you may want to note that there is an Association of Wedding Gown Specialists that specializes in the preservation and restoration of bridal gowns.

Maria, I think no woman on a tight budget should feel ashamed to wear a used gown on her wedding day. It's ridiculously expensive sometimes to own or even rent a new one, so looking around for a previously worn, but beautiful wedding dress on the Web, through friends, in town, wherever, is always useful to try.
