There's an article over at The New York Times that states "When in Cannes, Risky Dressing Allowed". However, wouldn't you apply that to any event where Hollywoodites are involved? 
I really try to follow that rule: "If you don't have anything nice to say..." However, I could not resist when I saw this picture with Sofia Coppola (courtesy of Kirsty Wigglesworth/AP). The top part of the dress is not flattering, no? I can't quite make it out. Kirsten Dunst (on the left) seems to have played it safe. Very simple, however, I would've worn a fabulous necklace with it...
Anyhow, over at HelloMagazine.com there's a photo gallery where you can vote on your favorite dress. I chose Ms. Beyonce's dress. But wait...is she on her cell phone? Tacky.
