Pat on the back to Lucky Magazine for putting a model on the front cover for the second month in a row! This time it's Milla Jovovich. And since Milla was a model before she turned actress, I won't complain too much ;)
In my opinion, putting actresses on the cover of magazines sends the message that
famous people are only worthy of adorning the cover of fashion magazines. Perhaps Lucky Magazine gives hope to aspiring models that yes, they too can be on the front of a leading magazine.
Speaking of... we get Jennifer Aniston again on the front cover of Harper's Bazaar. She looks great, yes, but let's get over the fact that her and Brad are done! She says in an interview in the magazine regarding the break-up:
"Frankly, I'm bored with the whole thing. Isn't everyone else?"
Yes, I'm actually tired of reading about it in every other fashion magazine. Although Jennifer has a great story to tell and something to teach many women who are going through divorces or break-ups, let's read about someone else for a change! Here's an idea, how about a fashion designer's life?

To me, putting models on the cover of a magazine sends the message that skin-deep beauty is all that matters. It also might just state that we don't need talent, just attractiveness, and that makes someone something more special.
