Hermes is on a mission to achieve 10% growth in 2006. Patrick
Thomas, CEO, said this:
"In the coming years, the increase in our production capacity coupled with strong creativity and a reasonable rhythm of new store openings should allow us to achieve growth of around 10 percent on average a year".*
With all the fashion marketing noise that's out there today, it definitely takes a great deal of creativity to come up with ways to make sales. I like the fact that Hermes has come out with a scarf that will help raise money for New Orleans. This definitely puts them in the spotlight at the same time helping out a good cause.
I'd like to help Hermes achieve their goals, but between housing and gas prices in San Diego, it'll have to wait ;)
By the way, don't you like Hermes's logo? It conjurs up images of being a princess and riding in a carriage to see my prince!
