Coutorture's very own Julie Frederickson was interviewed for an article 
at MSNBC.com called Killer fashion: Looking good never hurt so bad, where the subject is torturous fashion - not a new subject - but fascinating nonetheless. I mean, it's been a mystery for ages why women and yes, even men, choose to wear clothing that pains them.
Julie's thoughts on this is (from the article):
“It’s too easy to blame it on the media,” says Coutorture.com’s Fredrickson. “I’m not sure it’s a cultural thing — there might just be innate forms of beauty that we respond to.”
Once upon a time I would have worn those high heels for eight hours and go home limping and whimpering about how my feet "burn", but oh no, not anymore. I think as we get older, the common sense starts to kick in...or for some people, maybe not. Pass me my ballet flats, please!
