I've never read the book, but I did notice it a couple years ago in the baby stages of its
fame. The Devil Wears Prada is being hyped as the "most stylish" film of the year (comes out June 30), so the curious cat in me will probably go see it for herself. I usually don't go see a film unless I've read the book first, so I have a few weeks to indulge in pleasure reading.
Amazon.com just launched a boutique dedicated to the movie where you can purchase the Patricia Field handbag worn by Andrea, the main character in the film. There's also a bunch of little goodies thrown in...plus a few movie tidbits.
If you're in the Los Angeles area, the movie will be featured during the Los Angeles film festival on June 22...
In other Prada news...the company is renovating its Waikiki, Hawaii flagship store. In celebration of the remodel, Prada will unveil a cute little limited edition handbag :)
