Ruth La Ferla of The New York Times wrote an article titled "The Duds of 'The Devil Wears Prada'". My takeaway from the article is that th
e people who have seen the movie so far say that it simply isn't realistic and doesn't portray the real life of fashion editors and staff.
Well, people, it's a movie! It's entertainment! What do you expect? If the director wanted to portray a real life story of what it's like to work for a big name fashion magazine, they'd do a documentary, right? It would probably show that the fashion world isn't as glamorous as we make it out to be - and then we'd have no movie!
I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to pay the nine bucks to see it myself...and I never did get around to reading the book! If anybody sees it tomorrow, let me know your two cents!

I saw The View today and they showed a bunch of clips from The Devil Wears Prada. It looks so cute...I am debating whether I will just wait for it to come out on DVD though.
