The fashion retail industry changes at the blink of the eye and I often find myself overwhelmed with all of it. Of course, I should be staying on top of the fashion news - that is what this blog is geared towards - but sometimes I just want to scream and tell these companies just to slow down! If I were to report every bit of fashion industry news, it probably would be longer than the longest book in the world ;)
So, I'm just resorting to a few interesting fashion headlines that caught my eye today:
Tiffany selects 37 Wall Street for its first store in NY City - the store will open in the fall of 2007
J.Crew takes success to the NYSE - the store known for its preppiness is going public next week and will probably be one of the biggest retail IPO's in a while
India's fashion leaders diversifying beyond the catwalk - India is revolutionizing the way the country sees fashion and following in the footsteps of Western fashion houses
Fashionista film goods going to online auction - outfits and accessories worn by the stars of The Devil Wears Prada are being auctioned at Ebay!
