FJ Benjamin and The Gap Inc. Team Up

Pretty soon you'll be seeing Gap stores popping up in Malaysia. The Gap Inc. (GPS) has rolled out their first franchise stores in Asia with Singapore-based FJ Benjamin Holdings Ltd as the first franchisees in the region.  The first store is due to open during the first week of October in Kuala Lumpur. 

"FJ Benjamin is honoured to be the first ever franchise partner of Gap Gap Fall 2006worldwide. We are excited with the new shopping style and choice that Gap will be offering customers in these two growth markets of Singapore and Malaysia," FJ Benjamin chief executive officer Nash Benjamin said.  The company plans to open up about 30 stores in Singapore and Malaysia along with the first Banana Republic stores to open in 2007.
