This is what Holly Buchanan of Marketing To Women Online thinks of a model seen in a fashion ad. This brings up once again the lack of creativity in many of the marketing campaigns displayed in current fashion magazines. I look at the "raccoon" and wonder if the person who thought up the concept of this ad is related to Marilyn Manson or is seriously depressed.
Holly goes on to talk about an ad for Di Modolo where Tea Leoni is praised for her humanitarian efforts. And if you know me by now, you know how I like to see the use of fashion for the greater good. Now,
that's great marketing.
And now for some visually stimulating ads, may I present the Miu Miu Fall ad campaign that I think is one of the better fashion campaigns out there right now. The play of colors and composition is artistic and aesthetically pleasing (no raccoons within).
