A friend and I recently went shopping and we noticed that our taste in
clothing has changed since the carefree days of the 20's when the longetivity of a piece wasn't an issue. We found ourselves studying the stitching of clothing and looking for pieces that were good "investments", or timeless, pieces. Would it fall apart after one wear? Then don't buy it... Is it something that will never go out of style? Buy it...
I'm waiting for the day when I can fill my closet with all designer brands. I want pieces that will increase in price as the years go by. Speaking of increase in price, Harrods Girl of I Am Fashion talks about dealing with old fashion magazines and I discovered that some magazines like Vogue can actually go up in price.
Do you look at fashion as an investment?
