The author of My Fashion Life points us to an article at
EntertainmentWise and asks:
"Is Madonna too old to be the face of H&M?"
I would have to say, no, she is not too old. Madonna symbolizes the coming out of older women and sends the message that "Yes, I can be old and still be stylish and hot, thank you!"
I feel that age is a state of mind anyways. If you look good in something and it flatters your body, who cares where you bought it? I've never shopped in H&M, but I've seen some of their clothing. I think that forty-something's can still get by wearing clothes from H&M, so why not have someone like Madonna represent? And who doesn't know Madonna? I think that twenty-year-olds can still relate to her. The lady is a legend in her own right.
However, if you've been reading this blog for some time now, you'll know how I feel about actresses being models. Why not get a forty something model-model to do the shoot? I find it interesting that in this industry you're considered "too old" after you reach the age of 30.

I don't think she's too old to be the face of H&M. She still looks pretty good for her age. I just wish she would do something different with her hair...
