
I think that there are too many boutiques in this world. Not that I don't support someone and their dream of wanting a store of their own, but many of them just don't have "that thing" that urges you to continue to shop there. Perhaps it's great customer service?
Well, now Neiman Marcus wants to try their hand at capturing the "younger" market by opening up a boutique chain called "Cusp". The Dallas-based luxury chain plans on testing four stores in the next few months that will carry more affordable, contemporary apparel and accessories for women.
Ginger Reeder, Neiman Marcus vice president, told The Dallas Morning News,"There's growth in the contemporary fashion category, and some customers prefer boutique shopping, so we wanted to see if we can do it better."
