In the fashion world, who says that a prostitute doesn't know anythin
g about fashion and style? Jane Eloy spent many years as a prostitute in Brazil and now is making headlines with a new clothing line called "Daspu", short for "das putas" - which means "of the whores" in Portuguese. Eloy and some of her "colleagues" helped with the designs for the line.
Hmmm...I would consider changing the name....
According to this article at The Mercury News, people are supporting them:
"When we were on television, people started coming up to me on the streets and saying, `Hey, you're that prostitute,'" said model Valkiria Pereira Costa. "I was expecting them to use that against me, but no, they were there giving me support. That's the first time that's happened to me."
Well, let's hope that they start making money so they won't have to be prostitutes anymore!

What fashion? Last time I checked, the only kind of 'fashion' any prositute cares to show off is birthday suit! It is just another bunch of designers trying to create clothing that no self-respecting person will ever wear outside fashion shows. But then again, when it comes to prostitute clothing, 'not wearing' may be the whole point of creating these so-called designs...
