An article at USAToday says that companies are capitalizing on the
release of the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel by coming out with skull-themed clothing. You can find skulls on everything from jewelry, t-shirts, and belts to dinner plates.
As is the case with the ballet-trend mentioned in my previous post, I would have to say Hello! skulls have been around for awhile, right? It's nothing new in my fashion book. Ask some motorcycle riders or gothic lovers - they'll tell you that skulls have been around for probably centuries now.
You won't see me clamoring for the skull-inspired style, but apparently Nicky Hilton has and "loves it". She has been known to use skulls in her Chick line (pictured here).

I've never been into gothic or dead metal stuff, not even when that things were popular. Also, I hate pretty things being distorted and ruined, so I'm deffinetly not doing this trend.
