Ok, so I'm looking at the purse and thinking, "What's so special about it?" Apparently it has the words "Carry On" embossed on the purse - the famous saying of Tim Gunn.
But still - are you willing to dish out the hundreds of dollars that the limited edition version costs?
To this day I'm still in awe of how adding a name to a fashion item can change the price, or perceived value, of it. If this same bag was being sold in Target without any name attached to it, you probably couldn't get more than fifty bucks for it. But since it was designed by Chloe Dao....it somehow justifies the asked-for price. But hey, I ain't mad at her! If she can get that much for a purse - more power to her ;)
