One day I was helping a lady pick out a bracelet which she wanted to put on her dog. The bracelet was about $30 and in the back of my head I’m thinking - Wow, $30 for a piece of jewelry for a dog? But, hey, if she wanted it for her dog, who am I to stop her? Her husband commented as if reading my mind, “Yeah, she loves the dog more than the kids sometimes.” They both walked away laughing.
So, thinking I had seen and heard it all, I came across this little article 
that reported that the “show stopper” at the first Pet Fashion Week was a quarter million-dollar dog collar. Whoah. Yes, someone bought one. And how about a $5,500 dog’s wedding dress?
