
John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing did a mini-interview with Kate and Andy Spade which is worth listening to if you’re a Kate Spade fan - which I am. I have to admit that I wasn’t too wild about those plain boxy bags she first came out with, but I like the fact that she simply designs what she likes. There are women out there who won’t hesitate to drop $200+ dollars on a plain purse. I sold them like crazy
when I worked for Nordstrom.
What I am a big fan of is the Kate Spade ads like the one pictured here. It’s not exactly the most exciting ad, but it's that portrayal of being girly and just having fun that makes it appealing. I also talked before about the one ad with the dinosaur in it... Just an example that creating ads doesn’t have to cost a fortune!
