I just found out via The Budget Fashionista that Hearst is ceasing production of their Shop, Etc. Magazine. Apparently, they didn’t hit their goal of 1 million subscribers. I’ve never even opened up the magazine - for some reason the cover never grabbed my attention. For those of you who have been reading my blog for some time know that I’m a Lucky subscriber myself.
Will we see more of this happening with fashion magazines now that 
more and more fashionistas are going online and getting their fashion fixes by reading blogs and participating in online fashion forums? There is so much information that you can get for free nowadays - why would you want to pay for a subscription?

I really liked Shop Etc. and I was a bit disappointed to see it go.
