Designer Ella brought up a good question:
Do you find blogs influential to you or anyone else?
I’ve found that blogs play an important role in my decision making. Although sometimes I question if the truth is actually being told. However, that is with anything I read these days whether it be blogs, magazines, or newspapers.
In terms of fashion blogs influencing me...I would have to say that a majority of fashion blogs do not influence my decisions when it comes to purchasing fashion. I do have to say that reading all these blogs is quite overwhelming at times because there is so much competition in the fashion world and shoot, what do I want? Do I want those pair of jeans? Or those pair of jeans? Or maybe those pair of jeans? When you’re online you are exposed to much more than going to the shopping mall.
The online fashion world has definitely opened up to me and I would have never been in contact with any of these wonderful fashion-minded, business-minded, and creative people had I not started writing for The Runway Scoop. I’ve definitely come a long way like Julie has when it comes to confidence in my role as a fashion blogger. I never in a million years would have ever thought I would be a fashion writer when I grew up. My friend says she pictures me writing for Vogue one day, but to be quite honest, I like where I am right now.
My only hope with this blog is to influence people into being comfortable with their own fashion style, educate them on the business of fashion, and provide information so that they can make informed decisions themselves.

"I do have to say that reading all these blogs is quite overwhelming at times ..."
I say it with you! I love it, though.
