Juicy Couture clothing has been in my fashion radar lately and I can’t seem to figure out why. Perhaps someone in marketing is telepathically talking to me and letting me know that the company is coming out with some good stuff. I did mention a few days ago that their ad in the September issue of Vogue is quite colorful - and funny, I might add. I’m dying to try out their new perfume which, of course, is going to be Juicy-licious. It’s supposed to smell fruity with a blend of watermelon, mandarin, and passion fruit mixed with green apple. Yum! Also, being a jewelry fan, what I do like are the Juicy couture jewelry charms. They’re big, they’re fun and in your face.
I recently find out that the company is planning more expansion. At
the end of the month they will launch a velour and terry cloth track suits store in Massachusetts. If there’s something I’ve learned from the founders, Gela Nash-Taylor and Pam Skaist-Levy, is that you can start a business with next to nothing and grow it into a multi-million dollar business.
“...you learn how to just follow through and not be afraid of competition; you don’t look over your shoulder.”
