I just stumbled upon this website called Style Diary, a fashion community of sorts where you can share with other fashionistas your style and upload photos of your latest fashion finds and bargains. What I really want to point out is this interview with fashion publicist, Lee Everett, Founder of LaunchPad PR where she tells us all about what it's like to be a fashion publicist and how an aspring publicist can make it in the fashion industry:
"Be giving and learn how to foster great relationships. Steer clear of being "too sales-ey” - Remember, you’re not in sales – you’re in PR!"
This advice can also be applied to aspiring fashion bloggers as well. Be giving! Foster great relationships by visiting other fashion blogs, sharing your experiences, and spreading the link love ;)
